Is it possible to get work permit with no qualified education?

對(duì)中國(guó)工作簽證有所了解的朋友，大概都知道，要想成功申請(qǐng)到簽證，是要滿足不少條件的。

If you do some research on China work visa, you will probably know that a work visa requires a lot.

基本條件就包括：1）年滿18周歲；2）身體健康；3）無(wú)犯罪記錄；4）國(guó)內(nèi)有確定的用人單位；5）具備從事其工作所需的專業(yè)技能或相應(yīng)的知識(shí)水平。

If you do some research on China work visa, you will probably know that a work visa requires a lot. The applicant should: 1) Be at least 18 years of age; 2) Be in good health; 3) Have no criminal record; 4) Have a definite employer in China; 5) Have the professional skills or corresponding knowledge level required for his work.

除此之外，申請(qǐng)人還要滿足更多，其中經(jīng)常被提及的就是“具有學(xué)士及以上學(xué)位和 2 年及以上相關(guān)工作經(jīng)歷”。

But applicants need to meet more requirements, among which "having a bachelor's degree or above and 2 years of relevant work experience or above" is often mentioned.

這就難倒很多外國(guó)友人了，一部分是因?yàn)樽约捍_實(shí)沒(méi)有接受足夠教育，另一部分則是因?yàn)樽约旱耐鈬?guó)學(xué)歷并不被中國(guó)認(rèn)可，申請(qǐng)簽證困難重重。

It corners many foreigner intending for a China work visa, because some of them experience no higher education, and others only have foreign degrees that are not recognized by China.

那么，外國(guó)人沒(méi)有相應(yīng)學(xué)歷，可以辦工作許可嗎？可以！

So, can one apply for a work permit in China without a bachelor's degree or above? Yes!

學(xué)歷和工作經(jīng)驗(yàn)只是眾多條件中任選其一，如果沒(méi)有學(xué)歷，可以選擇滿足其他條件，一樣可以成功申請(qǐng)到來(lái)華工作許可。

“Degree and work experience” is just an alternative requirement. A work permit will be available if you meet any other requirements.

一、持有職業(yè)資格證書(shū)

Hold professional qualification certificate

持有國(guó)際通用職業(yè)技能資格證書(shū)（如國(guó)際注冊(cè)會(huì)計(jì)師）或急需緊缺的技能型人才（如外國(guó)語(yǔ)言教學(xué)人員），可以申請(qǐng)B類工作許可。

Those who hold the qualification certificate of international general vocational skills (such as international certified public accountant) and skilled talents in urgent need (such as foreign language teachers) can apply for Category B work permit.

中國(guó)為了控制來(lái)華務(wù)工人員的質(zhì)量和數(shù)量，會(huì)將來(lái)華工作的外籍人士論分排級(jí)。就廣州來(lái)說(shuō)，來(lái)華工作的外國(guó)人在申請(qǐng)工作許可時(shí)會(huì)被分為A、B、C三個(gè)類別，分別是外國(guó)高端人才、外國(guó)專業(yè)人才、外國(guó)普通人員。

Taking Guangzhou as an example, foreigners who come to work in China will be divided into category A, B, and C when applying for work permits, namely foreign high-level talents, foreign professionals, and foreign ordinary personnel.

二、高薪工作

Have a well-paid job

平均工資收入不低于本地區(qū)上年度社會(huì)平均工資收入 6 倍的外籍人才，屬于A類外國(guó)人高端人才，可申請(qǐng)A類工作許可，有效期最長(zhǎng)可達(dá)5年。

Foreign talent whose average salary income is 6 times higher than the average social salary income in the region for the previous year, are eligible to get a category A work permit as foreign high-level talents. A category A work permit can be valid for up to 5 years.

平均工資收入不低于本地區(qū)上年度社會(huì)平均工資收入 4 倍的外籍人才，屬于B類外國(guó)人專業(yè)人才，可申請(qǐng)B類工作許可。

Foreign talent whose average salary income is 4 times higher than the average social salary income in the region for the previous year, are eligible to get a category B work permit as foreign professionals.

三、計(jì)點(diǎn)積分制

Apply with 60 points or more

為了建立科學(xué)合理的外國(guó)人才評(píng)估體系，中國(guó)實(shí)施計(jì)點(diǎn)積分制度，根據(jù)外國(guó)人的薪資水平、受教育程度、工作年限、年齡、漢語(yǔ)水平、工作地點(diǎn)等因素計(jì)算每項(xiàng)得分，以區(qū)分A類和B類人才，C類人才不納入積分范圍。

To establish a scientific and rational evaluation system for foreign talents, China adopts a point scoring system. Each score is calculated according to the salary level, education level, work experience, age, Chinese ability, work location and other factors, so as to classify the foreigners in Category A and B. Category C talents are not included in the score range.

計(jì)點(diǎn)積分在 85 分以上的，屬于A類外國(guó)人高端人才。

Those with more than 85 points are A-category high-level foreigners.

計(jì)點(diǎn)積分在 60 分以上但在85分以下的，屬于B類外國(guó)人專業(yè)人才。

Those with more than 60 points but less than 85 points are classified as B-category foreign professionals.

達(dá)到不同級(jí)別的積分標(biāo)準(zhǔn)的申請(qǐng)人，即可依據(jù)所屬類別申請(qǐng)工作簽證。

Persons can apply for work visas in line with the category they belong to.

如果既沒(méi)有合適的學(xué)歷，也滿足不了以上任一條件，也并不是就申請(qǐng)無(wú)望了，可以試試申請(qǐng)C類人才工作許可。

If you do not have the appropriate education background, or meet none of the above conditions, don’t be upset. You still have hope, try Category C permit!

C類工作許可 C-category Work Permit

C類人才指滿足國(guó)內(nèi)勞動(dòng)力市場(chǎng)需求，從事國(guó)家規(guī)定的臨時(shí)性、季節(jié)性、非技術(shù)性或服務(wù)性工作的人員。

Foreign Ordinary Personnel in Category C refers to the personnel who meet the needs of the domestic labor market and engage in temporary, seasonal, unskilled or service jobs stipulated by the state.

（1）條件不符合A、B分類的外國(guó)人，如實(shí)際計(jì)點(diǎn)積分在60分以下。

Those who do not meet the conditions of category A and B, such as those whose actual points are less than 60 points.

（2）來(lái)華從事短期性（不超過(guò)90日）工作的外國(guó)人，如模特、演員、運(yùn)動(dòng)員等。

Foreign personnel engaged in short-term work (no more than 90 days), like models, actors and athletes.

（3）根據(jù)政府間協(xié)議來(lái)華實(shí)習(xí)的外國(guó)青年；

Foreign youth who come to China for internship according to intergovernmental agreements.

（4）畢業(yè)一年內(nèi)的外國(guó)留學(xué)生和境外高校外籍畢業(yè)生；

Foreign students who meet the specified conditions, foreign graduates of overseas colleges and universities.

（5）遠(yuǎn)洋捕撈等特殊領(lǐng)域工作的外國(guó)人等。

Foreigners working in special fields such as ocean fishing, etc.

C類工作許可首次申請(qǐng)只能申請(qǐng)半年有效期，到期后可以延期，延期不限次數(shù)。

For the first application of a C work permit, only six-month validity can be applied, but it can be extended with no limit on the number of times.

但政府對(duì)于C類人才數(shù)量有一定限制，會(huì)根據(jù)當(dāng)?shù)爻鞘械膭趧?dòng)力市場(chǎng)現(xiàn)狀來(lái)分析評(píng)估該候選人是否符合要求，中國(guó)現(xiàn)有的勞動(dòng)力市場(chǎng)對(duì)C類人才本身需求更低，因此申請(qǐng)C類許可難度系數(shù)也是三大類中最難的。

There is a limit to the number of Class C visas, and the government will analyze and assess whether the candidate meets the requirements based on the current labor market situation in the local city. The existing labor market in China has a much lower demand for Class C talents, so the difficulty factor of applying for a Class C permit is also the highest of the three categories.
